Term Specifications	Members of the public – staggered two (2) year terms.
Compensation	None
Duties	Provide oversight of the activities of the Internal Audit Division through the review of audit results; assist in the selection of the independent Certified Public Accounting firm that performs external audits of the County’s financial statements; and provide the communication link between the Internal Audit Division, external audit firms, and the Board of Supervisors.
Qualifications	1. Two members of the Board of Supervisors 2. One member of the public who has work history in the field of business, finance, auditing and/or accounting. Must be a resident of Fresno County. 3. Second member of the public, who is a resident of Fresno County.
Meeting Schedule	As needed
AB 1234 Ethics Training	Pursuant to Government Code Section 53235, if any local agency provides any type of compensation, salary, or stipend to a member of a legislative body or provides reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred by a member of a legislative body in the performance of official duties, then all agency officials shall receive training in ethics.
