Committee	Consolidated Mosquito Abatement District
Enabling Legislation	Health and Safety Code Sections 2000 et seq.
Membership	Two members appointed by Board of Supervisors and a member appointed by city council of each incorporated city.
Term Specifications	• Two or four years, at the discretion of the Board.
Compensation	$100 per month in lieu of expenses for attending meetings within that month.
Duties	The Board of Trustees shall govern the District, shall establish polices for the operation of the District, and shall provide for the faithful implementation of those policies which is the responsibility of the District.
Qualifications	• Each appointee must reside both in Fresno County and within the boundaries of the District. • Each appointee must be a voter in Fresno County.
Meeting Schedule	Third Monday of every month
AB 1234 Ethics Training	Pursuant to Government Code Section 53235, if any local agency provides any type of compensation, salary, or stipend to a member of a legislative body or provides reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred by a member of a legislative body in the performance of official duties, then all agency officials shall receive training in ethics.
