Duties |
To cooperate with and act as liaison between the Corps of Engineers, the Central Valley Flood Protection Board and the Department of Water Resources in planning flood control activities on the lower San Joaquin River and effect local cooperation in connection with such plan. |
Qualifications |
One director shall be appointed from each of the seven divisions of the district, and each member of the board of directors shall be an owner of land, or a representative of a corporation owning land, within the division which he is appointed to represent. Each director shall serve for a four-year term and until his successor is appointed and qualifies.
Any vacancy on the board shall be filled by appointment of a member in a same manner and for same division as that of director whose office is vacant. |
Meeting Schedule |
Regular monthly meeting is scheduled for second Tuesday of each month at 8:30 am. |

Pursuant to Government Code Section 53235, if any local agency provides any type of compensation, salary, or stipend to a member of a legislative body or provides reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred by a member of a legislative body in the performance of official duties, then all agency officials shall receive training in ethics. |
