Duties The Deferred Compensation Management Council performs the following duties: (a) enforcement of the provisions of the Deferred Compensation Plan Document; (b) direction of the third-party administrator on behalf of the County to make disbursement of Deferred Compensation Plan benefits; (c) selection and review of any investment currently offered or under consideration to be offered as an investment option under the Deferred Compensation Plan; (d) make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, as appropriate, regarding the appointment of such agents, advisors, and counsel, including a third-party administrator as necessary for the administration and operation of the Deferred Compensation Plan.
Qualifications 1. Two (2) members at-large appointed by the Board of Supervisors, who shall be participants in the Deferred Compensation Plan.

AB 1234 Ethics Training Pursuant to Government Code Section 53235, if any local agency provides any type of compensation, salary, or stipend to a member of a legislative body or provides reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred by a member of a legislative body in the performance of official duties, then all agency officials shall receive training in ethics.
