Five members - Three appointed by BOS, one appointed by City of Coalinga, and one appointed by City of Huron. Each member appointed by the County shall be an elector of the County and a resident of the portion of the County which is in the District 1 and 4; 2-year term for initial appointment and 4-year term on reappointment |

Duties |
May take all necessary or proper steps for the extermination of mosquitoes, flies and other insects within the district or located in areas so situated that such insects migrate into the district. May order nuisances abated. |

AB 1234 Ethics Training |
Pursuant to Government Code Section 53235, if any local agency provides any type of compensation, salary, or stipend to a member of a legislative body or provides reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred by a member of a legislative body in the performance of official duties, then all agency officials shall receive training in ethics. |
